Exam Results

You may be aware of the government changes to the 14-19 curriculum. A series of diplomas worth up to 5-7 GCSEs will begin to come on line from September 2008. The first of these in Penwith is a Creative Arts and Media diploma.

Several of the units for this diploma include another new qualification, aimed at streamlining all similar ones that are currently available. These are known as functional skills. There will be a pilot this year for some students in English, maths and ICT.

In ICT the qualification will be with the WJEC. We form part of the pilot along with other Cornish schools.
